After being inspired by the lovely folks at DIYLILCNC, We decided to take the plunge and build our own computer numeric controlled machine. It is definitely not a process for the faint of heart; we ordered our kit from Build Your CNC and were a bit taken aback by the large numbers of boxes, tubes and packages that started to show up at our doorstep. This was not going to be a simple weekend project.
