In celebration of hand-craft that inspires us to get our hands dirty, the Spring showcase at The Post Family focuses on the renewed interest in skilled trades in our modern marketplace and is a celebration of what a little elbow grease can really do. Featured in the show will be the sign painting of Jeff Canham (who also did the lovely show graphic), the furniture making of Strand, the re-manufactured wood type of printmaker Don Kilpatrick, small batch brewing by Maria's Packaged Goods & Community Bar, the axe-men Best Made Co and more.
Manual Labor opens May 11, 2012 from 7-10pm at The Post Family Gallery, The Family Room, with the opportunity to view the show by appointment only the 2 weeks following. The exhibition will be sandwiched between a super-special studio tour article or two and a salon-style discussion on Art vs Design with some special guests.
