Strand Design: Unique furnishings for Jam Chicago

The popular breakfast spot Jam has relocated from it's original location in Ukie Village to the hottest new restaurant area in Chicago; Logan Square. Helmed by Chef/Owner Jeffrey Mauro, each meal at Jam is prepared with reverence and devotion to culinary craftsmanship, and the decor of the new space reflects the same attention to detail.

Strand Design was invited by The Indo Projects and Jam's Co-Owner, Jerry Suqi to design and create some of the beautiful elements of the new space.

Strand Design created custom molded ceiling tiles that create an "upholstered" effect of bare light bulbs emerging from a quilted ceiling, built-in plate cabinets with folding magnetized doors, and a unique, glass-topped community table built from urban white oak and powder coated steel.

Be sure to visit Jam and enjoy the fruits of our collaboration with Jerry Suqi and INDO, as well as some amazing food!
