More Great Lighting for Sojourn

Posted on July 07, 2011 by strandblog

I may be biased, but I love the new Sojourn boutique in Sawyer, MI. Stacia Garriott Kass, the owner of Sojourn, has turned what used to be a non-descript old building on Red Arrow Highway into a design destination! We are honored to have been asked to design lighting for this great new retail location.

Our latest contribution to the lighting at Sojourn is a smaller, shadeless variation of the lights we created for the main space. The smaller spaces that these lights are in came with some constraints, including a slanted ceiling. We made the lights from a combination of salvaged floorboards and hand-turned urban white oak, and think that they look perfectly at home.
